About me
My name is Laetitia Oubari and I am 15 years old. I was born in Paris, then my family and I moved to Milan, then back to Paris and two years ago we moved to Vancouver. My mom is American and my dad is Lebanese and I am fluent in English and French. I love to swim, dance and draw, and I am training to become a lifeguard. Before moving to Vancouver, I never had the opportunity to volunteer. Since living here, I have already donated a lot of my time to different organizations such as the North Shore Neighbourhood House Daycare and the West Vancouver Community Centre Day Camps, and this school year I will be assisting children's swimming lessons as an Aquatics Volunteer. Although I have been described by the camp director as having "good decision-making skills, patience as well as a lovely approachability", I know I still have a lot to learn. My goal is to gain confidence in myself and to acquire all the skills necessary for becoming a true leader.
